Robotic Sai Baba in Visakhapatnam attracts devotees, video goes viral

Visakhapatnam: Devotees are flocking to the Shirdi Sai Temple in Chinagadili of Visakhapatnam to witness the robotic Sai Baba, a masterpiece crafted with devotion and technology. The statue, which was installed by the city mayor Golagani Harivenkata Kumari Srinivas, moves its mouth and head in sync with audio words, giving the impression that Shirdi Sai has come to bless the devotees with his human-like expressions. The statue was crafted by Andhra University fine arts graduate Y. Ravichand, who spent three years perfecting the statue, using silicon chemical material for the face and special fiber glass from Canada for the rest of the body. The devotees feel that Baba himself is present in the temple, as the statue moves its eyes, speaks and moves its head, adding to its lifelike appearance. This is the first divine robot statue in the country, and it has attracted a lot of attention in the surrounding areas, resulting in an increase in the number of devotees visiting the temple in recent days. The temple committee members, priests and devotees are all praising the talent of Ravichand for creating this wonderful statue.
