An aspiring engineer from West Bengal, Chotan Ghose, has received praise for his innovative design of an electric bike. Despite his profession as a flower decorator, Ghose's passion for automobiles led him to create an environmentally friendly vehicle at a low cost. His innovative idea and its transformation into reality is lauded by people. The bike, which can accommodate up to 10 people, was made in just 22 days and with an investment of only Rs 15,000. Once charged, it has a range of 100 kilometers and costs only Rs 8 per charge.
