Leave letter from constable seeking time to reconcile with wife goes viral

A constable from Uttar Pradesh's Maharajganj district has gained attention on social media for his leave letter requesting time off to pacify his wife. Gaurav Choudhary got married in December and returned to work shortly after, leaving his wife behind. According to the letter, she was upset with her husband and stopped answering his calls. In an attempt to resolve the situation, Gaurav wrote a leave letter to his superior, the ASP, explaining the situation and requesting a week's leave to try and reconcile with his wife. The ASP granted Gaurav a five-day leave, and the letter has since gone viral on social media.
