Gujarat voters will elect a new government by voting on December 5 after the key election's crucial campaign is over. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took time out of his busy schedule to visit his mother, Heeraben Modi, at her home in Gandhinagar's Raisan neighbourhood on Sunday, as the future of the BJP administration would be decided tomorrow. Prior to Monday's second and last phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections, PM Modi also sought his mother's blessing. The prime minister was captured by the media touching his mother's feet and seeking her blessing. The mother-son pair could be seen seated on a sofa and sipping tea.
