IT officials seized Rs 4.8 crore from Minister Malla Reddy's close aides

Hyderabad: Income Tax department officials conducted searches at Telangana minister Malla Reddy, his relatives and close aides' residences in Hyderabad on Tuesday. According to the reports, the IT officials reportedly seized Rs 4.8 crore of unaccounted cash from the minister's close aides who are looking into his business activities. It is learnt that the officials seized Rs 2 crore from Trishul Reddy's house and Rs 2.80 crore from Raghunath Reddy's residence. On the other hand, TRS leaders condemned the IT raids at Minister's residences and offices. TRS activists raised anti-central government slogans before the minister's residence.
