Tuni: In a horrifying incident, an unidentified miscreant attacked Telugu Desam Party leader and former MPP Seshagiri Rao with a sharp-edged weapon. According to the sources, the accused entered the TDP leader's house in the guise of Bhavani Mala and interacted with him by hiding the knife under the towel. Suddenly, the accused attacked the TDP leader with a knife over his head and hands. After hearing the screams, the family members of Seshagiri Rao rushed toward him and the accused escaped from the spot on a bike. He was immediately shifted to the nearby hospital and sustained severe injuries on the head and hand. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV cameras and the police registered a case and an investigation is underway.
