The claims reportedly made by the ruling TRS regarding the privatisation of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited were disputed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stated, "Neither the Center has any proposal to privatise the Singareni nor does the Center have any such idea." According to PM Modi, the state government owns 51% of the shares in Singareni while the federal government only receives 49%. After dedicating the RFCL to the nation, the Badrachalam-Sattupalli railway line, and three National highway projects on November 12, 2022, the Prime Minister cautioned the populace not to believe the fraudulent claims made by the residents of Hyderabad.
