Legislator for the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) K Kavitha on Monday claimed that the outcome of the Munugode by-election demonstrated Telangana's citizens' support for Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. KCR's daughter Kavitha commented on the TRS victory in Munugode, where party candidate K Prabhakar Reddy defeated BJP's Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, his closest challenger. Kavitha, a Telangana Legislative Council member, was speaking with reporters after Karthika Pournami Puja at a temple in Nizamabad town. Kavitha claimed that the populace had responded appropriately to the BJP leaders who had used shady tactics and made outrageous claims. She pointed out that the victory in Munugode gave TRS a hat-trick of victories in the Nalgonda district's by-elections. She hoped that voters will continue to support the TRS in the state's next elections. Kavitha made a statement stating that she would set up a Rs 50 lakh Rath at the shrine. She expressed her gratitude to the Munugode residents for lending TRS their unwavering support.
