To deliver high-quality healthcare in rural, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has created the concept of the family physician. It will formally debut on October 21. The state government has taken action to lighten the burden on the secondary and tertiary hospitals based on the Expert Committee's recommendations and in-depth conversations with numerous NGOs and stakeholders. According to sources, under the "Family Physician" idea, everyone will have free access to government services for routine blood pressure and sugar checks, apart from other health complications. The idea also makes it easier for nurses and other specialists to be available when people need them. The community identifies ASHAs (Accredited Social Health Activists), who evaluate the requirements of families in terms of their health and create effective connections between the community and medical facilities. All of the Dr. YSR Village health clinics have access to 14 fast diagnostic kits. All DR YSR Village Clinics now have access to 67 categories
