K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR), the state's minister of industries and information technology, has made it clear that the state is working to increase the value of the state's life sciences sector by $100 billion by 2030. A Bio Pharma Hub worth Rs 1100 crore was one among five projects in Genome Valley for which the minister also laid the foundation stone. According to Minister KTR, several new businesses have started up and some have started expanding as a result of the rising demand for premises in Genome Valley. Mr. KTR has made it apparent that the country's genomic valley has emerged as a major player thanks to investments in the life sciences industry. He claimed that it is truly trying to build infrastructure for the biomedical industry.
