Uttar Pradesh: In a horrifying incident, five were killed including three children and 64 injured after a massive fire broke out in a Durga Puja pandal, Narthua village in Uttar Pradesh. According to the reports, the fire broke out in a Durga pandal due to overheating of a halogen light and it caused an electric wire to catch the fire. It is learnt that more than 300 people were in the pandal to watch a digital show on Sunday night when the fire broke out. The majority of the victims were women and children. The fire erupts at around 9:30 pm Sunday. The injured persons were shifted to the hospital and undergoing treatment. The police registered a case and an investigation is underway.
