In a rather bizarre incidence, a worried citizen of Old city in Hyderabad called Telangana Home Minister Mahmood Ali at midnight recently, seeking answers to a query about Biryani. According to certain media input, a old city resident called the minister at midnight to inquire about the length of time Biryani shops are permitted to remain open. He did, however, ultimately answer to the man’s inquiry. The minister announced that the hotels would shut their doors at 11 p.m. To sort out the issue they have been facing since a long time, many All India Majlis-E-Ittahadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leaders met the city police commissioner in recent weeks, urging that Biryani restaurants be allowed to stay open until midnight at 1 am.
