Akash Ambani features Time's 100 emerging leaders' list

The head of India's largest telecom company, Jio, Akash Ambani, the son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, has been included in Time100 Next, a list of the world's rising stars. On the list, he is the only other Indian. Amrapali Gan, an American business executive of Indian descent, is also included on the list. Since Akash Ambani is a descendant of a famous Indian industrialist, he was always predicted to succeed in business. But he has been working hard, according to the international journal Time. The largest telecom business in India at the time, Reliance Jio, appointed Akash Ambani as its new chairman on June 28. The junior Ambani previously held the post of non-executive director of Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd.
