Malakpet hit-run case: Dr Sravani died while undergoing treatment

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, Dr Sravani who was injured severely in a hit-and-run case in Malakpet died in the early hours of Saturday while undergoing treatment at NIMS. According to the reports, Dr Sravani who worked as a dental doctor in a private hospital in Hastinapuram met with an accident on September 21 after an unidentified car rammed into her bike. The Ola bike driver Venkataiah and Sravani were injured severely in the accident. Dr Sravani was admitted to the NIMS hospital after severe head injuries and died while undergoing treatment. With the help of CCTV footage, the police identified the accused as Ibrahim, a resident of Malakpet and found that he had no license and papers of the vehicle.
