After bringing the queen's casket to Westminster Abbey for an hour-long service of remembrance and prayer that concluded with a two-minute moment of silence and the singing of the national anthem, the royal family joined 2,000 dignitaries at the state funeral. India's president, Droupadi Murmu, took part in the final journey as a representative of her country.
