The capital(s) of Andhra Pradesh are the subject of ongoing discussion and controversy. The AP IT minister Gudivada Amarnath's sensational comments suggesting that the "Three Capitals" bill is likely to be tabled in Assembly shortly and that, starting in the following academic year, the state administration will actually operate from Visakhapatnam city have attracted political attention in response to the State government's proposal of three capitals and the likelihood that a bill will be introduced in the Assembly soon. Prepare for the approaching academic year," Gudivada Amarnath told the reporters at the AP Assembly media point. Amarnath has made indirect statements, but the YCP government intends to designate Vizag as the Executive Capital. Before endorsement of these remarks, CM Jagan stated in the AP Assembly that Vizag would make a superb Executive Capital for the state. He claimed that Vizag is the most developed and best city in all of Andhra and that, with a little assistance, it might become even better.
