BJP mocks Rahul Gandhi over Rs 41000 T-shirt; Congress hits back

The BJP responded to Rahul Gandhi's "suit boot ka Sarkaar" jibe at the Narendra Modi administration once again today with interest. The Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was allegedly wearing a T-shirt from the upscale British brand Burberry worth more than Rs 41,000 while on his "Bharat Jodo Yatra," which was intended to foster a connection with the common citizen. The BJP earlier tweeted, "Bharat Dekho (look, India)," along with a screenshot of the item in the Burberry catalogue with the price displayed as Rs 41,257. In reply, the Congress attacked the BJP and questioned them about the issues with inflation and unemployment. It has sought a response from the Saffron party about PM Modi ji's 10 lakh rupee suit and 1.5 lakh rupee glasses.
