Tense situation prevails at opening of 'Anna Canteen' in Peddathippasamudram

The opposition Telugudesam party's opening of the Anna Canteen in Pedttippasamudra in Tamballapalle Constituency of Annamaiya District has created a highly tense environment. No gatherings should be held while Section 144 is in effect, according to police notices. The location where the Anna Canteen was located had a large police presence. As YSR Congress activists gathered close to the Anna canteen's entrance, the situation turned hostile. The Tamballapalle TDP in-charge Shankar Yadav opened Anna canteen and served food despite the police providing warnings.
