Chandrababu writes a letter to Andhra Pradesh DGP

In an open letter to the Andhra Pradesh DGP, Telugu Desam Chief Chandrababu Naidu demanded that he take stern action against those responsible for the killing of a SC youth called Karunakar in Kavali, Nellore district. In a letter, the former chief minister vented his disgust over how common attacks against SCs and members of marginalised groups have become routine in the state. The young man Karunakar, who runs a business in Musunur subleasing fish ponds, was allegedly prevented from catching fish by YSRCP leaders Jagadiswara Reddy and Suresh Reddy. This was the reason Karunakar took his own life, and he also gave this reason in his letter of suicide. According to Chandrababu, these instances are happening as a result of the police's apparent disregard for those who attacked the SCs.
