Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao (KCR) has given the state's residents some good news in honour of the nation's 75th anniversary of independence. All residents of the State who are older than 57 would begin receiving 10 lakh additional pensions on August 15, according to CM KCR. A further 10 lakh will be added, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 46 lakh from the current 36 lakh. CM KCR has thought of the situation of dialysis patients while making fun of the Central government's vested campaign on freebies and its negative effects. He stated that the sufferers would receive an Aasara pension of Rs 2,016 per month. According to KCR, this will be in addition to the patients receiving these services at no cost. He also stated that instructions were already issued to release 75 prisoners with good conduct.
