Medchal-Malkajgiri, August 3: Finance and Health Minister Harish Rao on Wednesday alleged that Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is spreading lies on Kaleshwaram Project. Addressing a gathering after inauguration of renovated CHC Hospital at Medchal, Harish slammed Shekhawat for saying in the BJP public meeting that the Telangana government did not take investment and environmental clearances before embarking on Kaleshwaram. “In the Parliament, Jal Shakti Minister had announced that all clearances were obtained for construction of project,” he mentioned. Rao faulted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for opposing freebies to eligible beneficiaries.
