According to NV Ramana, Chief Justice of India, the majority of people suffer in silence because they lack knowledge and resources, and only a small portion of the population can use the justice delivery system when they need it. Chief Justice of India (CJI), while speaking at the All India District Legal Services Authorities Meet in New Delh, which included Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief guest, stated that the purpose of modern India was to eliminate social gaps. He added that access to justice is a tool for social liberation and that participation will not be possible without it. Later, PM Modi stated during his speech at the event that the judicial infrastructure has a significant impact. In the previous 8 years, effort has been done to improve India's judicial system. He has also emphasised the significance of the judiciary to the growth of the nation.
