Man slips into Godavari river from Dokka Seethamma Aqueduct, rescued

Gannavaram: A man luckily escaped from the jaws of death after he accidentally slipped into the flooded Godavari river in Gannavaram, Konaseema district. According to the reports, the person identified as Patta Venkateswar Rao, a resident of Lankala Gannavaram accidentally slipped into the Godavari river from Dokka Seethamma Aqueduct. After hearing his screaming for help, the locals on the spot rescued him with the help of a rope. His family members and locals appreciated the people for their kind gestures toward him. Now, the video is going viral on social media. It is known that Lankala Gannavaram village is inundated with Godavari floodwater and villagers are facing severe problems.
