He continued by saying that Swami Vivekananda was a devout follower of maa Kaali. Notably, the movie poster for Kaali by director Leena Manimekalai has caused a significant outcry. Goddess Kaali was seen smoking on a poster by Leena Manimekalai. Ramakrishna Paramhans was a saint who witnessed Maa Kaali in front of him, as Prime Minister Modi remarked during his speech at the event. PM Modi also mentioned Swami Vivekananda and Bengal's Kaali Puja. The comments were made in the midst of the Goddess Kaali issue, which has led to the BJP calling for the expulsion of Mahua Moitra, a Trinamool MP for the Lok Sabha.
