West Godavari, July 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi felicitated family members of legendary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju at Bhimavaram on Monday, after unveiling his 30-feet bronze statue on the occasion of his 125th birth anniversary celebrations. The PM started his speech in Telugu with opening lines from popular song ‘Telugu Veera Levara’ from Alluri Sitarama Raju movie amidst cheer from people attended the meeting. Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, state Tourism Minister Roja, megastar Chiranjeevi and others were present.
