No chance of fourth COVID-19 wave in Telangana: DPH Srinivasa Rao

Hyderabad, June 26: In an exclusive interview, Director of Public Health (DPH) G. Srinivasa Rao said that there is no chance of fourth COVID-19 wave in Telangana. He stated that fourth wave is possible only when new variant is detected. The DPH mentioned that Telangana would witness rise in coronavirus cases in the next six weeks. “There is a possibility of state registering 3,000 cases on an average every day,” he stated. Expressing threat, Srinivasa Rao advised to people participating in public events and functions to wear masks to avoid contracting virus.
