The Andhra Pradesh cabinet meeting, which took place on Friday and lasted more than three hours, is now over. 42 issues are believed to have been covered in the meeting presided over by the chief minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. After considering all of the options, the cabinet has chosen to rename Konaseema district as Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district. It has given the approval as well. The Cabinet has approved the distribution of funds to the beneficiaries coming under Jagananna Amma Vodi scheme.The 43 lakh mothers will profit from this programme. The Green Energy Project and several related projects with a projected cost of Rs 15,000 crore were given permission to be built in Andhra Pradesh. The Jagananna Vidya Kanuka, Vahana Mitra, and Kapu Nestham were also given approval.
