The Mahila Darbar held by Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at Raj Bhavan yesterday, which was aimed at the state government, did not go well. Her assertions that she will work tirelessly for the empowerment of women in the state and that no one has the power to stop her from working for the people and fighting on their behalf have sparked controversy. The Governor's exercise drew criticism from both the TRS and Congress, who labelled the endeavour as politically driven. In response to the Governor's words, TRS MLA Jeevan Reddy suggested her to take Bandi Sanjay's position if she is truly interested in politics. 'We have no objections to it, and we will continue our political war,' said the TRS MLA.
