The UP Government has imposed new guidelines for working women just days after releasing the UP State Budget 2022. Women cannot be compelled to work between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. under these guidelines. This decision is part of an effort to improve the security of women in the state. Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Adityanath government has made a critical step to protect female employees. Orders were issued to all government and private organisations stating that women should not be compelled to work before 7 a.m. or after 7 p.m., and employers should not dismiss them. The government has said that if women are engaged in job or duty between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., the company or organisation must have her consent.
