Yadadri's 1000-year-old cave temple puts Telangana on World Spiritual Map

Yadadri is a 1000-year-old temple located 60 kilometres from Hyderabad in the Telangana district of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri. A simple cave shrine has been converted into a magnificent temple. The temple was transformed in record time with 3-lakh tones of Krushna-Shila, the famous Black Granite stones from Gurujapally in Prakasham district. The temple's splendour is both dazzling and sobering. Lord Narasimha Swamy can be seen in five different forms in this temple, which is located on a Yadadri mountain named Yadagirigutta. It has grown from a mere 2500 square yards to a vast 4 acre temple. The temple was designed in the spirit of Tirumala's famed Sri Venkateswara Swami temple.
