CSK’s Ambati Rayudu sends fans into frenzy, deletes tweet after announcing retirement

On Saturday, Ambati Rayudu of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) sparked a sensation when he tweeted that the current Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 will be his final season in the tournament. However, Rayudu quickly deleted the retirement tweet, driving netizens into a frenzy. 'I am happy to inform that this will be my final ipl.' For 13 years, I've had a great time playing it and being a part of two fantastic teams. 'Would like to thank Mumbai Indians and Csk for the fantastic journey,' Rayudu wrote on his official Twitter account. Fans were left wondering why Rayudu revoked his previous retirement declaration after he deleted the tweet. Rayudu made 257 runs in 16 matches in CSK's IPL 2021 winning season, and he was CSK's best run-getter in IPL 2018 with 602 runs.
