Chiranjeevi answers to a scribe asking the necessity to hike the prices of his movie tickets

Acharya is one of the most anticipated films of the Mega Star Chiranjeevi in 2022. While responding to a scribe's question on why a Chiranjeevi film necessitates ticket price increases in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the Megastar was visibly irritated by the tone of the remark. While keeping himself cool, Chiranjeevi claimed that they are doing so because they have no other choice. 'The Covid-19 outbreak has wreaked havoc on the film business like all other fields,' Chiranjeevi stated this. According to Chiranjeevi, paying Rs 50 Cr in interest is unheard of in the Telugu film industry. He continued, asking who will provide them with the funds?. 'It's great if governments help us out by allowing ticket price increases', Chiru stated. Previously, the director of the film Acharya, Koratala Siva, stated that the accounts of the movie still needs to be cleared. He has been working on 'Acharya' since 2018 and has not made a single rupee, the director claimed.
