No interview for TSPSC Group 1, 2; Age limit increased 3 years for Police recruitment

The Telangana state cabinet has accepted a proposal that, going forward, only written tests would be used to ensure transparency in the selection of other gazetted positions, including Group-1 and Group-2. In addition, the state cabinet has agreed to extend the age limit for police recruits for another three years. The decision was made in response to a request from job applicants across the state. Previously, the Telangana government issued an order raising the maximum age limit for upcoming direct recruitment by various agencies by ten years. As a result, the age limit will be raised from 34 to 44 years for a period of two years from the date of the issuance of government instructions to the various types of jobs to be notified for direct recruitment.
