Telangana man in Bear costume fends crop from wild animals

Farmers in the Telangana district of Siddipet devised a novel technique to protect their crops from monkeys and wild boars. Bhaskar Reddy dresses up as a sloth bear to keep wild animals away from his crops. The farmer pays individuals Rs 500 per day to dress up and wander around the field in the outfit. On social media, a video of a person moving about in the field all day to keep the crops safe has gone viral. While some internet users were startled to learn that the man is paid Rs 500 per day for his work, others pointed out that wearing the costume all day and keeping animals at bay is not simple.
