A behind-the-scenes look at Mumbai's first underground metro line, which is expected to open in 2023. With 26 subterranean stations, the metro line that is being built beneath one of the world's most densely packed cities will connect Cuff Parade, Mumbai's corporate hub, and seeps in North Central. The metro line is planned to relieve traffic congestion from South Mumbai to the city's suburbs, which will be a huge benefit for Mumbai residents. Civil work on the Metro project is still ongoing. It will take some time to finish construction on the stations, systems, testing, and commissioning of rolling stock, among other things.
