Telangana CS holds review meeting with officials on promotions

Hyderabad: As per the directions of Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao, Somesh Kumar, IAS., Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana directed all the Secretaries to speed up the process to complete the promotions by 31st January 2021.

Today, Chief Secretary held a detailed review on promotions with all the Secretaries at BRKR Bhavan. He said that it is one of the highest priority of Government and the purpose is to get more promotions by the employees. Chief Secretary directed the Secretaries to pay special attention to sort out the issues pertaining to left over promotions for different categories in the departments and complete the process without any delay.  He asked the Secretaries to hold meetings with HOD’s on promotions.

Rani Kumudini, Special Chief Secretary, LET&F, Rajat Kumar Principal Secretary, Irrigation, Ramakrishna Rao, Prl. Secretary Finance, Vikas Raj, Prl. Secretary, GAD, Sunil Sharma, Prl. Secretary, TR&B,  Sabyasachi Ghosh, Prl. Secretary, Youth, and Services, Ravi Gupta, Prl. Secretary, Home, Jitender, Additional DG, Law and order, Secretaries S.A.M. Rizvi, B.Venkatesham, Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Janardhan Reddy, Ahmed Nadeem, Anil Kumar, Divya, Neetu Prasad, Christina Z Chongthu and other officials were present in the meeting.

CS participated in Pragathi Video Conference held by Prime Minister:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted Pragati video conference with the Chief Secretaries of all the states today and took stock of the progress achieved in various railway projects, highway projects, industrial corridors, and Pradhan Manthri Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana.

The union government acknowledged the progress achieved by the state government in respect of four laning of Sangareddy-Akola-Nanded section of NH-161. The state government achieved tremendous progress in land acquisition and disbursal, the Union Transport Secretary A Giridhar noted.

Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar IAS, Principal Secretary T R&B Sunil Sharma, Secretary Health and Family Welfare Rizvi, Director Drug Control Administration Dr. Preeti Meena, and other officials attended the conference.

CS meeting with Employee Associations on PRC:


As per the directions of Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao, the three-member committee headed by Somesh Kumar, IAS., Chief Secretary, Govt. of Telangana met with Office bearers of  3 employees associations, namely Telangana Gazetted Officers Association, Telangana Non-gazetted Officers Association, and Telangana Secretariat Association at BRKR Bhavan today.

The Three-member committee heard the views of the three employees association one by one regarding their views and representations with regard to PRC recommendations and other issues. Chief Secretary has responded positively on employees issues pertaining to PRC Recommendations and other related matters which will be brought to the notice of the Chief Minister.  

In this meeting, Ramakrishna Rao, IAS., Principal Secretary, Finance, Rajat Kumar, IAS., Principal Secretary, Irrigation and Office bearers of various employee associations, V.Mamatha, President, A.Satyanarayana, General Secretary, M.B.Krishna Yadav of Telangana Gazetted Officers Association, M.Rajender, President, Rachel, Vice President, Mujeeb, City President, M.Pratap, General Secretary of TNGOs, M.Narendor Rao, President, Linga Murthy, General Secretary of Secretariat Officers and Employees Association members participated.
