Ather Energy opens its first Experience Centre at Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh
Srikakulam, 28 July, 2023: Ather Energy, India’s leading electric scooter manufacturer, inaugurated its Experience Centre, Ather Space, in Srikakulam. This is Ather’s ninth Experience Centre in Andhra Pradesh and its 137th in the country. Ather Space will retail the Ather 450X Pro, one of India’s quickest and smartest scooters, alongside the Ather 450X.
With the inauguration of this Experience Centre, Ather also rolls out a new, more compact design of their otherwise large-format outlets. While the large format Ather Space in a prominent location would generally be 1500-1800 sq.ft, these outlets are designed to cover a slightly smaller area between 600-900 sq.ft. The experience and the services will continue to be exactly the same, allowing customers to learn more about electric vehicles while providing a holistic experience in an interactive space.

Ather Energy is one of the few OEMs that also invests in building charging infrastructure. The company has installed 99 fast charging points across the state and 2 fast-charging points at the Experience Centre, and will continue to strengthen its charging network to provide smooth and stress-free rides for EV owners in the city. The Ather 450X's ex-showroom cost after Fame II revisions is INR 1,46,559 for the 450X and INR 1,67,073 for the 450X Pro. Ather has also announced a more affordable variant, the Ather 450S which will enable more commuters to enjoy performance-focused EV transportation. With a starting price of INR 129,999, the 450S will have a 3 kWh battery pack, a top speed of 90 km/h, and an estimated range of 115 km under IDC (Indian driving conditions).
