Jinn Made with a New Concept: Nikhil M.Gowda
Produced by Nikhil M. Gowda under the banners of Sadalamma Film Productions and Bilva Studios, Jinn features Amit Rao, Parvez Simba, Prakash Tuminad, Ravi Bhatt, and Sangeetha in key roles. The film is directed by Chinmay Ram and is set for a grand release on December 19. The teaser and trailer have already generated strong buzz. As the release date approaches, producer Nikhil M. Gowda shared insights about the film with the media. Excerpts from his interaction:
I’m from Bengaluru. I’ve loved films since childhood and mostly watched Telugu movies. That passion drew me to the industry. I came in with the dream of acting, but eventually became a producer.
I met Chinmay Ram through my friends’ circle. Knowing my passion for cinema, he narrated the story of Jinn. I really liked it—the concept felt fresh—so I decided to produce it.We shot Jinn along the Karnataka–Andhra border. With its different and new concept, the film will captivate audiences. I’ve already watched it, and the feeling I had while listening to the story is exactly what came through on screen. It’s designed to genuinely scare viewers.
Alex’s background score and Sunil Honnali’s visuals are major highlights. The film offers a strong theatrical experience. Chinmay Ram has brought it to the screen beautifully, and thanks to the team’s collective effort, Jinn has turned out wonderfully.Amit Rao, Parvez Simba, Prakash Tuminad, Ravi Bhatt, Sangeetha—everyone delivered excellent performances and were very supportive throughout the shoot.
Jinn will give audiences a completely new experience. I hope they embrace this fresh attempt. The concept of a jinn isn’t widely known, and through this film, we’re introducing a new world.I’m currently listening to a few more stories, all in discussion stages. Going forward, I plan to continue producing films regularly in both Kannada and Telugu.
