Every corner of Telugu states is getting all set to celebrate the Ganesh festival with great enthusiasm. The famous Vinayaka of Khairatabad, known worldwide, is eagerly awaiting worshippers. Sculptor Rajendran's skilled hands have completed the creation of a massive statue. It is learnt that the festival committee will remove the support sticks, revealing the magnificent idol, just two days before the big event. This year Lord Ganesh will bless the devotees in Sri Dashamaha Vidhya Ganapathi form. On the 18th of this month at 10 am, Governor Tamilisai will be the first to perform the pooja. This year's Ganesh idol stands tall at 63 feet, a remarkable 13 feet taller than last year's. Raj Kumar, the organizer of the Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Committee, proudly shares that this idol is set to break the city's previous record of 61 feet, established in 2019.
