Hyderabad: Former MP and BJP leader Vijayashanti recently shared her perspective on the Delhi liquor scam case, particularly regarding BRS leader and MLC Kalvakuntla Kavita's involvement. Vijayashanti expressed sympathy for Kavita, who received ED notices once again in this case. She emphasized the importance of protecting young girls from distress, personally advocating for the presumption of innocence for any accused girl child. However, Vijayashanti disagreed with Kavita's assertion that this was a result of factionalism. Vijayashanti clarified that it is not a political necessity for the BJP to advocate for Kavita's arrest, as the ED and CBI, government agencies, handle such matters in various states nationwide.
