The former minister stated that, in the upcoming elections, the political battle seems to be one-sided. He believes that the TDP-Jana Sena alliance has the potential to secure more winning seats in the election. Furthermore, Ganta Srinivasa Rao criticized Chief Minister YS Jagan with reference to the alleged arrest episode of former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, claiming that it has had a negative impact on Jagan's political standing.
