During the second day of the G20 Summit, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, paid a visit to Delhi's Akshardham temple on Sunday. Accompanying him was his wife, Akshata Murty. On September 8, Sunak had expressed his pride in his Hindu heritage and was delighted to have the opportunity to visit the temple. Sunak had previously stated, "I am a proud Hindu. It's how I was raised, and it's who I am. We recently celebrated Rakshabandhan, and I received all my Rakhis from my sister and cousin. I couldn't find the time to celebrate Janmashtami, but I hope to make up for it during our visit to a Mandir this time."
