On September 2nd, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) achieved a significant milestone by launching its much-awaited 'Aditya-L1' mission to study the Sun. The launch took place at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, where the PSLV-C57.1 rocket carrying the Aditya-L1 orbiter lifted off successfully. Prime Minister Narendra Modi used the platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to extend his congratulations to the dedicated ISRO scientists for the successful launch. Minister of State (MoS) Jitendra Singh also hailed the launch as a proud moment for India, likening it to a "sunshine" moment. The Aditya-L1 spacecraft's mission aims to provide valuable insights into the Sun's behavior and its impact on our planet.
