Former US President Donald Trump has been taken into custody following allegations of involvement in tampering with the outcome of the 2020 US presidential election, as well as conspiracy and other charges. He complied with the legal proceedings by presenting himself to the authorities at Georgia Jail. The Fulton County District Attorney, Fanny Willis, granted him permission to surrender at Fulton County Jail and post a bail of two hundred thousand dollars. Trump followed the required protocol and spent a brief period of 20 minutes in confinement before being released on bail. This incident marks one of four criminal cases filed against Trump. Such situations involve the accused voluntarily turning themselves in to law enforcement, resulting in them being officially considered under arrest. Notably, Trump faced a recent arrest in connection with the 2020 election issues.
