The multinational conglomerate, which initially entered into an agreement with an investment of $150 million, is now prepared to inject an additional $400 million into the region. Telangana's IT and Industries Minister, K. T. Rama Rao (KTR), expressed his elation in response to Foxconn's decision, highlighting the deepening bond between the Telangana government and the renowned service provider, Foxconn. He noted that this enhanced investment underscores the robustness of their partnership. Taking to Twitter, KTR announced the exciting development, sharing that Foxconn's cumulative investment in Telangana now stands at $550 million. He emphasized that Foxconn is fully committed to delivering on its commitments within the state.
