Air India, the airline owned by the Tata Group, has introduced a fresh brand identity and a new aircraft livery on Thursday. The revamped logo will debut in December 2023, coinciding with the introduction of Air India's inaugural Airbus A350 into its fleet, showcasing the new livery. The redesigned concept takes the renowned Indian window shape, historically associated with Air India, and reimagines it as a gold window frame. Dubbed "The Vista," Air India's novel logo draws inspiration from the zenith of the gold window frame, symbolizing boundless opportunities, progressiveness, and the airline's fearless and optimistic stance towards the future, as stated by the airline. The livery and design encompass a color scheme of rich red, deep purple, and shimmering gold accents, along with a motif influenced by the chakra. Additionally, it proudly presents a new custom typeface called 'Air India Sans.'
