Vijayawada: The comments made by YCP MLA and former minister Kodali Nani regarding Megastar Chiranjeevi have ignited the anger of Mega fans. Outraged by Nani's remarks, fans staged a protest at a temple and organized a rally in the town. Chanting slogans like "Jai Chiranjeeva" and "Kodali Nani down," they demanded a public apology from Nani for his comments on Chiranjeevi. However, the police attempted to halt the mega fans' rally, leading to a confrontation between them. Chiranjeevi's youth president, Kandula Ravi, and numerous fans were arrested during the incident. The fans even resorted to lying on the road in front of the police vehicle to express their dissent. The considerable crowd of mega fans posed a challenge for the police to control. Simultaneously, Chiranjeevi's supporters in Vijayawada staged a protest on the main road, offering blessings to the Vangaveeti Ranga idol with milk.
