The South Central Railway has exciting plans ahead! A total of 114 stations within its jurisdiction are set to undergo a massive transformation under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme initiated by the Central government. This includes a significant development of 40 stations in the Telangana region, with a substantial budget of 1,805 crore allocated for the project. Notably, the first phase will witness the foundation stone being laid for 21 of these stations. The Amrit Bharat Stations scheme, introduced by the central government, aims to bring a fresh wave of upgrades to railway stations across the country. This nationwide effort seeks to improve station capacity and modernize railway amenities, aligning them with the changing requirements of passengers. Reports indicate that several stations within the combined Warangal districts, namely Kazipet, Jangoan, and Mahabubabad, are in line for a remarkable makeover. These stations are set to undergo enhancements that will elevate their facilities to a level akin to those found at airports.
