Warangal: Telangana Governor, Tamilisai Soundararajan, expressed concern over the severe problems faced by the people in the flooded areas of Warangal district due to recent heavy rains. The situation has reached a critical level, and immediate relief measures should be initiated by the government. Stressing the need for a long-term solution, the Governor urged for prompt action to provide drinking water, essential items, and medical aid to the affected victims. To assess the situation firsthand, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan visited several flooded areas, including Jawaharnagar, Nayeem Nagar, Bhadrakali Bund, NTR Nagar, and NN Nagar. During the visit, she interacted with the residents to understand their difficulties and concerns. She mentioned that a central team is currently evaluating the damage caused by the floods. On this occasion, Governor Tamilisai also commended the Red Cross Society for its valuable services and support to the victims in the flooded areas.
