The Parliament has finalized the dates for the much-anticipated debate on the no-confidence motion raised by the opposition in response to the recent communal clashes in Manipur. The matter will be thoroughly discussed in the Lok Sabha over a span of three days, starting from August 8. On the final day of the debate, which falls on August 10, Prime Minister Modi will address the session. The decision regarding the debate dates was reached during a Lok Sabha House Affairs Committee meeting. However, the opposition expressed their discontent and walked out of the meeting. They demanded an immediate debate on the no-confidence motion, highlighting the urgency of addressing the situation in Manipur.
